Wyoming Valley Family Medicine Residency Program has developed rotationsthat take advantage of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital's outstanding cardiac, surgical, emergency and women's and children's services, and other areas of special interest. In all, rotations provide a well-rounded and comprehensive educational experience for residents. Take a look at the breakdown of rotations:
- First Year
- 8 weeks - surgery
- 6 weeks - renal
- 6 weeks - inpatient medicine
- 2 months - pediatrics
- 2 months - obstetrics
- 1 month - emergency medicine

- Second Year
- 2 months - community medicine
